Blowing our own trumpet… 13/05/2010

We try and give our readers informative and useful information via our blog, but every now and then we have to blow our own trumpet a little. We’re very proud of the quality of service we deliver so if we can’t talk about it on our own blog, then where can we?!

Whilst flicking through the ‘book of the night’ that we managed to take home in one piece from the Recruiter awards last month, we read some of the judges comments about what made us an award winning agency, so we thought we’d share them with you.

• “Survival over the past year might be seen by some as an achievement; when a company has grown its turnover by around 10% and increased its pre-tax profits from £800k to £1.2m during these market conditions, the achievement is even more impressive. Yet this is just what CBSbutler has succeeded in doing – and against others in the same sector that experienced an average 20-35% drop in turnover.”
• Business performance was also improved through value added offerings to differentiate us from the competition and raise the bar in levels of customer service and we played a ‘big role’ in improving the recruitment industry’s reputation and raising standards.
• “The judges were particularly impressed with the scope of activities, such as participating in a Trade Leadership Forum to raise standards of leadership within the industry and promoting overseas trade, as well as the company’s work with schools to encourage young people to take an interest in science.”
• “The judges like the introduction of CBSbutler’s new performance model, giving equal weighting to behaviour and achievements of its own consultants, rather than based on the previous financially driven incentive.”
• Customer service survey gave us 98% very satisfied rating, with 90% rating us more effective than our competition

So there you have it – just some of what makes us proud owners of two Recruiter awards. It’s always nice to see that our hard work and effort is recognised and rewarded!
